Through the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC)the Nigerian Govt has vowed to use popular Nigerian musician, Augustine Kelechi, famously known as Tekno as a ‘scapegoat’.

The agency said it was going to sanction Tekno for parading nude dancers in the streets of Lagos.

Its Director-General, Olusegun Runsewe, made this assertion while reacting to the controversial music video in which Techno paraded nude dancers.

“No single person is bigger than Nigeria.

“We are going to use him as a scapegoat to send a strong signal that this government does not tolerate nonsense and immorality, but discipline, which is our moral principle,” Mr Runsewe said.

The DG expressed disappointment that in spite of the ongoing investigations, Tekno still went ahead to release the video to the public.

“NCAC is committed to exposing proponents of such kinds of offensive sights and videos in Nigeria,” Mr Runsewe said.

“Since the offensive Tekno scam video came to limelight, I have received hundreds of telephone calls and SMS from Nigerians at home and others in United Kingdom, U.S, Canada and other parts of the world.

“They are querying why such anomaly could be tolerated in Nigeria.

“Now that he has released the shameful video, when investigation is still ongoing, we are going to inform security agencies to place him on their watch list.

“Because his action is a threat to national security and bad influence on Nigerian youth.

“We warn that nudity is not part of our culture and should not be tolerated.

“The Federal Government will henceforth fish out such clubs for nude dancers across the country for their promoters to face prosecution.”

The DG also commended Tekno’s arrest but was faulted the singer being released on bail.

Tekno had earlier apologised and explained the circumstance which led to his actions.

A$AP Rocky is locked up abroad after being placed in police custody in Stockholm, Sweden following a street fight with a man that went viral. He may be there for multiple weeks while authorities investigate what went down.

On Thursday (July 4), TMZ reported that Swedish authorities plan on keeping the rapper in custody for longer than normal while looking into what happened. According to the celebrity news site, persecutors are asking that Rocky and his team be held for two weeks. The standard for someone being held without bail is 72 hours. So, it looks like authorities are paying special attention to this case.

As previously reported, on Monday (July 1), video surfaced that appeared to show Rocky and crew involved in a rumble. The clip starts with Flacko talking with two men who seem to be upset over a pair of broken headphones, which they are blaming on the rapper. They followed Rocky and his crew and things escalated when a woman came forward to accuse one of the local men of sexually harassing her. That’s when, witnesses say, Rocky and team put hands on the two men. Video shows the fight in progress. Rocky and crew fled afterward and police later arrived on the scene and took statements from the battered men and witnesses.

On Tuesday (July 2), Rocky came forward to give his side of the story on social media and shared video of what happened before the fight. One clip shows one of the men striking Rocky’s security. The same day, Rocky voluntarily surrendered to police for questioning and was taken into custody.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West have welcomed their fourth child via surrogate.

On Friday (May 10), Kim revealed her surrogate has given birth to a healthy baby boy via the tweet, “He’s here and he’s perfect!” The surrogate went into labor earlier than expected on Thursday afternoon (May 9). Kim was all set to surprise her mother Kris Jenner with the news on the Ellen show. However, since Kim couldn’t make it, her sister Kourtney covered her and delivered the news on the show.

Back in January, Kim revealed her child’s gender on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen alongside her sisters Kourtney and Khloe. During her appearance, Cohen asked if Kanye and Kim are working on their next child. Mrs. West responded by confirming the rumors about their new child. She even admitted how the story about the couple’s baby boy got out in the first place.

“I got drunk at our Christmas party and told people and I can’t remember who I told,” Kim told Cohen.

‘Ye and Kim’s newborn son comes days after they hit the red carpet at the 2019 Met Gala. The power couple strayed away from the proposed camp theme of this year’s gala. Yeezy kept it simple by wearing a black track jacket and some dark pants. Meanwhile, Kim rocked a stunning translucent dress as she made her way around the gala.

The new addition to the family joins the couple’s previous children North (5), Saint (3) and Chicago (1). Congratulations to Kanye and Kim on the birth of their baby boy!
