Larry Gaaga infiltrated the Nigerian music industry through a multidisciplinary assault of songwriting, production, management, entrepreneurism, and of course, singing. From his early days managing rapper Vector, getting on the track ‘Get Down‘ with V.E.C alongside 2face and being featured on occasional tracks like 2Baba’s hit song ‘Gaaga Shuffle‘ to starting his own label and scoring major hits of his own with the 2018’s Davido collaboration “Doe” and 2Baba, Burna Boy, D’banj’s collab – “Baba Nla” with Wizkid 2019’s “Low,” Gaaga has established a significant presence in the Afro-pop world. Also in 2019, he produced the soundtrack to the film “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free”.

Egedege dance was made popular by Mrs. Theresa Onuorah in Unubi Town. The name Egedege stems from local slang for richness and bravery which explains why the dance is considered cultural classics and is only played in a royal home or rich families‘.

Theresa Onuorah sings and dances along with her dancing troops. Her melodious voice can wake the dead from the grave.

She was called the Queen of the coast because it was rumored that an ordinary being cannot be endowed with such a golden voice. She has not debunked this claim. She, in fact, believes in the worship of the sea goddess.

The video shows off gyrating masquerades representing and paying homage to the spirits that guard the land as well as guest appearances by Nollywood veterans like Chiwetalu Agu, Pete Edochie, and Harry Nwachukwu a.k.a Harry B.
